Welcome to the Yahara Journal

The Yahara Journal is MATC's journal for writing and art created by students. While we only publish our nifty book in the spring, we're up to a lot of other mischief in between publications - like hosting a few contests and events such as the Banned Book Week. You can get surrent info, rants, lists of recommended reading and such on the site - so poke around and enjoy.

Upcoming and Ongoing Events

• Now through Jan. 27 - Submissions accepted for Yahara Journal Art Show (bring to Student Life)
• Feb. 1 - Feb. 28 - Spring Art Show in Truax Library and Downtown Campus display cases.
  
• Thursday, March 11 - Poets Allison Joseph and Stacey Lynn Brown will read their work at 2 p.m. in Truax Room 206.
  
• Friday, March 12 - Deadline for submissions to be considered for publication in Yahara Journal.
  
• Thursday, April 22 - Poet Brett Ralph will read from his work at 2 p.m. in Truax Room 206.
  
• Wednesday, April 28 - Yahara Journal book release celebration, Truax Student Lounge.
