Yahara Journal Writing Contest – Ending March 13
Students can submit up to five items in each category. All work suubmitted must be orginal work of the person submitting it. Written work can be no more then 10 pages typewritten and double spaced. Students must include their names, phone numbers, and e-mail address with all submissions. Items submitted for the contest will be considered for publication in the Yahara Journal. Members of the Yarhara Journal staff are not allowed to compete in the contest. All submissions should be brought to the Student Life Office, Truax Room 140 or Downtown Room D237, or e-mailed to us at yaharajournal@matcmadison.edu. Submissions are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 13. Prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place will be awarded.

 

Yahara Journal Student Art Show– April 1-28
Students can submit up to five items for display in the Yahara Journal Art Show. Work will be displayed in the Truax Library and at the Downtown Campus. All work suubmitted must be orginal work of the person submitting it. Items can be dropped off at the Student Life Office, Truax Room 140 and Downtown Room D237. Submissions should be framed, mounted or otherwise prepared for display. All items will be considered for publication in the Yahara Journal. Submissions are due by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. If you have questions, please e-mail yaharajournal@matcmadison.edu. Prizes of $100 for first place best of show, $50 for second place and $25 for third place will be awarded.
